TuneIn is the leading audio platform for global radio stations, network news, live sports, podcasts, and more. With more than 100,000 stations across the world, listeners turn to TuneIn on all of their devices every day to listen to the music they love and to stay plugged into their world.

And now, TuneIn is bringing the same platform used by the biggest stations and brands to emerging broadcasters, so they can distribute their content to listeners. TuneIn On Air, a new program designed just for stations still finding their voice, allows virtually anyone with a message and a radio stream to deliver their content to TuneIn’s 30 million listeners.

“This offering represents TuneIn’s first foray into developing solutions for emerging content creators,” says Jamie Silverstein, Senior Director of Strategy and Business Operations at TuneIn. “[It] demonstrates how deeply committed we are to innovating around the needs of the broadcaster community, regardless of size.”

The program is available for all stations that meet the criteria in the United States for a small, quarterly subscription fee. This price will ensure that TuneIn can continue to maintain an innovative, industry-leading experience for our listeners, while unlocking millions of new fans for fledgling stations and content creators.

“One of our aims with the launch of TuneIn On Air, says Andrew Bock, Chief Industry Evangelist at TuneIn, “is to re-energize college radio stations and independent broadcasters around the US by providing them with a simple, easy-to-use way to dramatically increase their distribution through digital audio.”

By joining TuneIn On Air, these emerging stations not only put their content in front of a massive listener base, but they can also incorporate TuneIn’s top-tier technology. That means that all TuneIn On Air stations will be automatically available on more than 200 devices, including smartphones, tablets, in-car entertainment systems, smart speakers, connected TV devices, and more. And, all stations will have access to robust data and analytics.
